He is best known for his hit songs Mwana, Aje, Chekecha Cheketua, Cinderella, Nakshi Mrembo, Usiniseme, Dushelele, Single Boy with Lady Jaydee, Mapenzi Yana Run Dunia and Macmuga. He also collaborated with R. Kelly and other African musicians on the One8 project.
“Mapenzi Run Dunia” is one of Alikiba’s best songs about love, In this song Alikiba explains how he was accused of having a romantic relationship with his female friend and caused the woman to commit suicide after the accusations.
