Rajab Abdul Kahali is a Tanzanian musician, songwriter and dancer who goes by the stage name Harmonize. He was born in Mtwara, Tanzania. He records music for his own label KONDE MUSIC WORLDWIDE, He is well known for his hit song “kwa ngwaru”, featuring Diamond Platnumz. He featured Rich Mavoko on his song “Show Me”.
Bongo flava is the nickname for Tanzanian hip hop music. The genre developed in the 1990s, mainly as a derivative of American hip hop, with additional influences from reggae, R&B, afrobeat, dancehall, and traditional Tanzanian styles such as taarab and dansi, a combination that forms a unique style of music.
